If you are feeling constantly run down and can’t seem to find that extra step, you may be suffering from Adrenal Fatigue Syndrome. Adrenal fatigue is caused by a poorly working adrenal gland in people who are under mental, emotional, or physical stress. Your adrenal glands make hormones, one of these is cortisol which helps your body deal with stress. If your life is too stressful, your adrenal glands may not pump out enough hormones, leading to a wide variety of symptoms such as:

Insomnia – Body Aches – Decreased Libido – Mild depression – Hair Loss
Weak immune system – Hard to get up in the morning
Difficulty handling stress – Food cravings, particularly salty foods.
A tendency to self-medicate with stimulants, such as caffeine.

In addition to exercise, limiting sugar and caffeine intake, incorporating essential oils into your routine can help ease Adrenal Fatigue Syndrome. Below are a few tips and, our Adrenal Fatigue Relief recipe for you to try at home.
