Insomnia

 

It’s terrible to be exhausted but unable to get to sleep because you’re physically tired and wide awake!  These are the essential oils that can help you get your rest:

Essential oils for Insomnia

 

Chamomile

Lemon

Marjoram

Sage

Sandalwood

Valerian Root

Use the oils for a massage or add 8 to 10 drops to a warm bath.

For massage, make a blend by combining approximately 30 drops of any of the above listed essential oils with 3 tablespoons of coconut oil.  Massage the oil over your entire body, including the neck and shoulders.

In a warm bath, add 8 to 10 drops of any of the above listed oils, agitate gently with your hand. Step into the tub and just lie there and relax, or perhaps read a book or listen to soothing music.  Then go to bed.

Repeat nightly or as often as needed.
